The 38th Congress of the Scandinavian Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (SSAI) will be held in Reykjavik, Iceland, June 10–12, 2026.

The congress theme is “Finding the balance.” We will offer sessions where we intertwine this theme into the choice of speakers and topics to allow participants to explore how we all strive to find the correct balance in individual case management, in the way we organize our work environment, and how this affects the balance between our work and our environment and our work and personal lives.
